I would have to say that I was a bit hesitant when Meridian told me that I could have the engine installed in just a few hours. But I'm pleased to say that after about four hours work, and a lot of grunting and swearing, my engine now sits in my engine bay. As I said before, still waiting on the loom.

I finally have an engine!!! It's sitting in my shed waiting to be installed. Although there was a bit of an issue with the transport company that had to be sorted out, but that's all over now and I can get on with the task at hand. Maybe I'll have it in by Christmas. Although I don't have the engine loom yet, I suspect that will be delivered sometime after Christmas.

It's been a long wait but I finally have an engine. Well, I don't have it yet but it is bought and paid for, and god willing It should be in my shed by the end of the week. The guys at Meridian spent last week putting the engine and gearbox together for me, so hopefully it won't be too difficult to install. The wiring loom will be trailing behind a little bit as it has been sent to the auto electrician. But that won't stop me from putting the engine in the car and hopefully it will be in the car by the weekend, but we'll see what happens.
